Padi's last album spawned a slew of massive hits, the biggest being "Menanti Sebuah Jawaban." Somehow I thought the band would go in a similar direction to “Jawaban” with this new album, Tak Hanya Diam. Boy, was I wrong. This new album seems to be the most aggressive Padi release I've heard yet. Sure there are those expected radio ballads and mid-tempo rockers destined for radio overplay and movie soundtracks, but the rockers this time is particularly ferocious. "Sang Penghibur" has some parts that seem to demand head banging. I'm going to guess the band might have been sick being masters of classy ballads and wanted to show this time around that they have big macho rockers in their pants. Thank goodness for that.
