It was 60 years ago when adidas' iconic three-stripes Trefoil design was birthed. Today, the adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2009 collection pays tribute to the originality of the design with a range of footwear and apparel that have become timeless classic styles as well as some preppy Milan street designs for men–courtesy of a recent partnership with equally iconic pop scooter manufacturer Vespa. Also in the women's collection are sneakers designed by Missy Elliott under her Respect ME label. The adidas Originals Spring/Summer collection is available in Malaysia at adidas Originals Concept Stores in KLCC and Pavilion. Prices start at RM159 onwards for apparel and RM229 onwards for footwear.

To celebrate its 60th Anniversary in style, adidas Originals is hosting a series of House Parties on 27 February simultaneously in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines whilst the Malaysian edition throws a bash for 1,000 loyal “Superstars” at Zouk KL. World-renowned UK DJ/Producer Sinden (who has remixed for Estelle, Lady Sovereign and Mark Ronson) drops by to spin alongside Zouk resident DJs LapSap and Goldfish. Besides partying to indie and electro dance floor cuts, you can also view collections by adidas such as its 60 Years Of Soles And Stripes, Vespa and Women’s Select Pack. Get soled!
