Music that makes you dumb
Virgil Griffith, a 25 year old student from Caltech, has been working on a side project that uses aggregrated Facebook data about the favourite bands and books among students of different (American) colleges, and plotted them against the average SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) scores of those schools.
This is the dude that created the WikiScanner, the database that tracks the sources of "anonymous edits" to Wikipedia entries (because we all know if it's on Wiki, it must be true!!). Also, his two websites booksthatmakeyoudumb and musicthatmakesyoudumb have both crashed due to traffic overload.
According to Griffith's chart, the favourite musician of the smartest students averaging 1371 on the SATs is Beethoven. Also a fave with the brainy kids are Counting Crows, Radiohead and Sufjan Stevens while Beyonce, Lil Wayne and TI seem popular among students with lower SAT scores.

generally all the radio stations in this country sucks. i've stop listening to radio since 2000.
agree with bab! panggang... c'mon i listen to the used & mcr the sellout too(a little) but i still manage to be here in UM loh.. gonna be a rocking dentist; always knew i had to play beethoven instead of my rock music while treating the patients.. hey antiradio, maybe u can try tuning in to other alts like business fm or capital fm.. so far bfm is so good they even play kula shaker & placebo! but not so sure what kinda radio will play such music from bring me the horizon, escape the fate etc!

Where is Dr.bombay on the list? I'm sure he will surpass Beethoven anyday
