U.O.X. PLAYed Live and we loved it

Last Saturday, people who came out to U.O.X. Play Live at Republic, Sunway Pyramid, Malaysia were treated to live music from some of the region's best bands. Among them were Filipino bands Rivermaya, Chicosci and Taken By Cars, Indonesian band The Upstairs as well local faves Seven Collar T-shirt and Deserters.

Highlights of the night:

• Hearing random loud cheers coming from the crowd whenever Liverpool scored a goal against Manchester United.
• Deserters' lead singer Zack Yusof asking the audience who was winning the match halfway through their set.
• People actually moshing to Taken By Cars' songs. Even they were surprised!
• Crazy high flying stunts performed by cheer squad Charms.
• Watching MTV VJ Denise attempt to sing one of The Upstairs' songs.
• Chicosci rocking out the stage.
• Watching fans go nuts for the good-looking boys of Rivermaya.

Meanwhile, inside Republic MC Vandal and the Floor Fever Crew gave a sneak preview to the next U.O.X. Play event happening on 18 April at Maison, Kuala Lumpur (keep checking back to the site for more details).
