Yesterday evening, Junk attended David Archuleta's Malaysian press conference over at Sunway Lagoon. David made a grand entrance when he walked in wearing a green baju Melayu (the traditional Malay outfit for Malaysian men) and was accompanied by a troupe of kompang players. He later got some help from Sony Music's Managing Director Adrian Lim to put on a songket.

During the press conference David talked about working on new material, staying true to his musical roots and being able to experience different cultures.

Can we just say how freaking adorable, humble and soft-spoken this kid is?! We're pretty sure that he converted a few ambivalent journalists into fans yesterday.

David Archuleta is set to perform at a showcase at Sunway Lagoon Amphitheatre tomorrow at 3pm. Watch a clip from the press conference taken from KLue:

why the hell do you have to make fun of him?what's there to make fun of?i mean..look at him..he's sweet,he's nice,he's talented and all..he's done nothing wrong and yet you have to go dissing the guy...come on..grow up...look at yourselves in the mirror before saying something about someone else~.
