Junksounds Awards 2008 winners Thaitanium (Biggest Star Power and Most Stylish) and Bangkok Invaders (Best Urban Act) drop by Zouk KL to help blow out the candles on YZ International's birthday cake. Having built her rep as a hip hop event organiser and promoter in the US through the years, Yaniz Merican of YZ International is now known in the KL hip hop circuit as the go-to girl for bringing in regional and international hip hop acts into the country. At the same time, she also bigs up Malaysia's local players such as Joe Flizzow, Pop Shuvit and Stylustiks. This Birthday Blowout also sees the debut of MEM (Money Exchange Movement) in Malaysia–the offshoot of Way from Thaitanium, Big Calo and MC Dandee from Bangkok Invaders. It's gonna be huge!
