The Mighty Doosh get ready to rumble

Last week we brought you the words of Melee Punks, in the build up to The Great Electro Swindle at Barsonic, Zouk KL on 19 June 2009. And now the other side speaks: The Mighty Doosh (Kurt from Clash The Disko Kids and DJ Inquisitive) talk to us about the impending three-way tie between them, Melee Punks and Twilight Actiongirl! Whoever the last man standing is, you can be sure that things will turn batshit crazy!

Are you confident of being more insane (the good kind) than the Melee Punks and Twilight Actiongirl?
Definitely. Our parties always make clubbers ask for more. We’ll play anything that’ll make the crowd go crazy.

Fans of comedic troupe The Mighty Boosh? Who’d be Noel Fielding, and who’d be Julian Barratt?
Nah, not really.

Oh well. What sparked the creation of The Mighty Doosh, then?
We don’t have any idea, to be honest. 

To get the true feel of a Mexican standoff, will anyone be sampling Ennio Morricone (composer of many spaghetti Western soundtracks)?
Haha, maybe. ☺

Future plans of The Mighty Doosh?
We plan to release our debut EP, and tour more in this region. We also plan to do more collaboration with regional artists like LapSap, Dex Pistols, Bang Gang and many more.
