We may be thinking with body parts other than our head, but we can’t get enough of Pixie Lott’s ‘Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)’ which hit the UK like the credit crunch (fuckin’ bang!). But where do you think she’s gonna end up? Maybe she’ll last forever like Madonna (and she does seem to last forever, something like Kroenen from Hellboy). Maybe Lady Gaga would be a more accurate comparison. Or maybe, by virtue of the infectious pop and silly dance moves she will be adopted by the gay community as the heir apparent of Kylie Minogue. Or will she fade into (relative) obscurity like Sophie Ellis-Bextor, or become whatever peculiarity it is that Avril Lavigne is?
