We were shooting TLG for the next month’s issue of Junk, and we were brought to the consecrated ground of their homebase (or something like it): a carpark opposite the Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (KL City Hall) building smack bang in the middle of the city.
See, all this while we thought that the boys were just a graffiti crew. But TLG is more of an ideology than a group per se, comprising not only writers and taggers, but also B-boys, musicians and artists. TLG espouses a movement within all forms of art that is uniquely Malaysian, ‘cause there really is no need to look abroad for inspiration any more, is there?
But enough words! More pictures:

hail TLG!!!
hmmm... there is still few mind out there that can appreciate this kind of things though...
I think every state should create a union like this to promote art and discriminate vandalism. And were still a long way to go to beat those latinos street art.
