
We really like Plague of Happiness' Kawan album. The band toured Kota Bharu, Kelantan last Saturday to promote it and it made the news! Not because of the gig itself, but because police raided the party and nabbed 103 people, including a 23 year old woman. Read the full report in The Star.
New Straits Times has another take on the raid. The national newspaper is questioning the nature of the arrest, one that took place at 5.30pm when one of the performing bands were onstage. How "immoral" could a gig at that time be? Read the article here.
According to the band's MySpace page, they've cancelled most of their tour dates in KL, JB, Singapore and Langkawi due to venue and budget contraints. Hmm ... we at Junk wish the band all the best.
