Zany Korean act Uhuhboo Project are set to unpackage their jumbled sounds and theatrical shows before an unsuspecting Singapore audience this weekend.
The band have been around since 1994—their band name means either "the fisherman" or "father of the fish"—and they have earned a reputation for pairing up dark, eccentric songs about sociopolitics with theatre and dance elements. The have three albums and their tunes have been used in a number of films, while selected songs have also been picked by German modern dance choreographer Pina Bausch.
