While we're stuck here broke from forking our cash for petrol, people in the UK get to go to some of the coolest outdoor fests in the world. So we all know about Reading and Glastonbury; here are some other cool music fests we wished would come to our region:
Latitude Festival (17 - 20 Jul)
Described as a more laid-back Glastonbury, Latitude takes place at Henham Park and boasts an impressive lineup that includes Franz Ferdinand, Sigur Ros, Martha Wainwright and Beth Orton.

Camp Bestival (18 - 20 Jul)
As the festival name suggests, there's plenty of groovy camping options–camper vans, tepees and bivouacs or even a solar-powered podpad with fitted carpet, shelving and a lockable front door. Musically, there's a diverse lineup too including the likes of Lily Allen!
The Big Chill (1 - 3 Aug)
The Big Chill is a laid-back, family-friendly music festival held at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire. It features fab music, dance stages and top comedy acts like Bill Bailey and The Mighty Boosh. Bomb the Bass and Plaid are set to play this year.
Endorse-It In-Dorset (8 - 10 Aug)
This 5,000 capacity event captures an eclectic mix of ska, dub and punk. Set in the beautiful rural setting of Oakley Park, this years acts include the Beat, Buzzcocks and Dreadzone.
Green Man Festival (15 - 17 Aug)
Lovers of folk music and psychedelic rock come here. This year's headliners include the British folk/jazz supergroup Pentangle and James Yorkston.
Beautiful Days ( 15 - 17 Aug)
Held at the Escot Park and on the same weekend as the Green Man Festival, this 10,000 capacity festival won "Best Festival" in 2006 and confirmed acts this year include Supergrass, Nouvelle Vague, Turin Brakes and the founders of Beautiful Days, the Levellers.
Creamfields (23 - 24 Aug)
Fatboy Slim, Peter Tong, Kasabian and Ian Brown headline this year's tenth anniversary. This two-day festival is the UK's biggest dance and electronic event and includes the biggest names in the DJ world as well as a great lineup of major live acts.
Bestival (5 - 7 Sep)
A three-day event on the Isle of Wight, Bestival is guaranted fun for all ages. Along with good music, fancy dress contests and a chillout zone with hammocks called "Restival", festival goers can enjoy varied music from Gary Numan and the Human League to My Bloody Valentine, and the Aphex Twin.
