Ashanti to join NBC's hit series Heroes?

According to MediaTakeOut.com, r 'n' b singer Ashanti and her manager mum have their sights set on joining the cast of NBC's Heroes.

A source from the TV show tells the website, "We haven't begun production on Season 4 yet, but everyone's interested in working Ashanti into it."

Now the question arises: would Ashanti play a hero or a villain like in her latest video 'The Way That I Love You', in which she portrays a psychotic killer.

Sylar's new apprentice maybe? Anyways, we do hope that her super powers will at least get her a new hit which she hasn't had for quite sometime now.
