Dudes at Pitchfork bring us the news that moodier-than-thou duo Massive Attack's new EP Splitting The Atom will be out in October. And you can listen to the rather decent (if a little droning) centrepiece track 'Pray For Rain' by clicking HERE, featuring the vocals of TV On The Radio's Tunde Adebimpe.

Robert Del Naja's cover art for the EP is lovely too, and should go down well with you day-glo enthusiasts (turquoise and orange! Together!). Interestingly, the cover art looks like the halohead pair on UNKLE's War Stories shocked to life and thrown into a Brazilian carnival.
