Hot in SG: *SCAPE & The iLLest Cipher 2010
Singapore's always got new tricks up its sleeve. This time, we'd like to focus on two things heating up the island nation that you should know about!
*SCAPE
Launched just recently, *SCAPE is a pretty cool space. Situated on the bustling Orchard Road, *SCAPE stretches across 1.2ha and encompasses the *SCAPE Youth Centre (includes LAB on Level 1 for exhibitions and FLOW on Level 2 for dance rehearsals and such!), *SCAPE Youth Park (a concrete playground with ramps; can also accommodate performances and film screening and *SCAPE Skate Park (performance area where you can throw a gig for up to 800 people).
Across these venues, *SCAPE aims to stand out from other retail giants with its unique brand of multi-level participation. Here, youths are given the platform to express themselves through mediums like dance, theatre, extreme sports, social entrepreneurship and multi-media.

The iLLest Cipher 2010 possibly the largest and most comprehensive hip hop convention in Singapore! Come 18 August, Singapore will be a hotbed of activity for all things hip hop.

@Froosh - true, *SCAPE has been around. however, the new building was completely this year and officially launched in June. hope that clears things up.

Junk writer please check your facts. *SCAPE was not launched just recently. It's been around for a good few years now.
