The Rock-afire Explosion is an animatronic robot band that played in the Showbiz Pizza Place in America in the 80s. The band is made up of animals like a dog, a gorilla, a bird, a wolf, a polar bear, a mouse and many others, and will perform a medley of rock, pop and country songs on a life-sized stage.
While the band doesn't exist anymore, its creators Creative Engineering Inc have brought the band back. Now fans can bid for the band to play their favourite songs here. Each bid costs US$5 and once a song reaches US$200, its creators will then make a Rock-afire vid for it.
The latest win is Arcade Fire's 'Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)' (view the vid below). Past winners includes Usher's 'Love In This Club', MGMT's 'Electric Feel' and Against Me!'s 'Borne On The FM Waves Of The Heart'. Expect to watch Lil Wayne's 'Lollipop' and Rick Seibold's 'Mary' soon.
