Nike+ Human Race

This 31 August, Nike is doing something out of the box and organising the world's largest running event. Anyone from anywhere all over the world can join–all you need is the internet!

Nike aims to connect every athlete globally with this run while physical runs are held in 25 places like the US, Istanbul, Tokyo, Taipei, Rome, Vancouver, Warsaw and Singapore. Those not living in these cities can participate by logging on to nikeplus.com and registering yourself. You can then track your run with Nike tools like the Nike+ iPod or Nike+ SportBand to track your miles on race day and then download miles on nikeplus.com to have your results officially counted as part of the race.

To sweeten the deal, Nike has arranged for some really cool acts to perform at the end of the race like Kanye West in LA, Moby in London, Fall Out Boy in Chicago, All American Rejects in New York, The Pinker Tones in Madrid and Boys Like Girls in Singapore.
