Models showing off the new Nokia Nseries devices with Nokia Malaysia Product Manager Glen Cha and General Manager Vlasta Berka
Last night, Junk got to manhandle the new Nokia N96, the flagship multimedia computer in the iconic Nseries range, as well as take a peek into the technology of its brethren, the Nokia N79 and Nokia N85, at the launch held at KL Hilton.
The Nokia N96 is not our favourite for nothing–it fuses a sleek design with impressive technology and advanced entertainment options including Live TV, a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, turn-by-turn voice navigation (for walking/driving), 16GB of internal memory, superior sound and music, N-Gage gaming and a 2.8” display together in one device. If you don't know what all this means, just get a load of how it looks!

The launch also previewed the Nokia N85 and Nokia N79, two latest Nseries multimedia computers setting the same great standards for mobile entertainment, gaming and sharing. Just look at these babies....

(We're digging the red on the Nokia N79 above.)
After a spot of gaming on the Nokia N96 (we tried to win a prize, but failed miserably), we indulged in the buffet (the Nutella Mascarpone dessert was heavenly) while local bands Deserters and Lightcraft showed people what it meant to be musically synched with the Nseries onstage. We left with a big belly and a big belief in the Nseries' new capabilities.
Check here for more pics of the Nokia N96, Nokia N85 and Nokia N79. The Nokia N96 retails at RM3,338 and will be available in Malaysia in the second week of September while the Nokia N85 and Nokia N79 are expected to begin shipping in Q4.
