SNM: Department Of Eagles

Department Of Eagles comprises of former New York University students Daniel Rossen and Fred Nicolaus. Claiming to have formed the band just for fun in their university days back in 2001, we certainly think they have stumbled onto a gold mine!

The band was recently featured in Urban Outfitters' LSTN #2 project among other bands like Of Montreal and Peter Bjorn And John. Even though Department Of Eagles are categorised under the indie/experimental genre, don’t be fooled–their sound is far from the loud, grainy and indecipherable noise you would expect of experimental bands.
